Day 1: Arrive at Srinagar airport, where your driver and car will be waiting to welcome you with flowers. Transfer of about 30 mins to Sukoon Houseboat. After flower-garlanded welcome and a refreshing drink of kehwa, you will be taken to your room decorated in a romantic mood. In the evening, a relaxing shikara ride through the backwaters, followed by high tea on the deck serenaded by traditional Sufi music. Dinner will be set on the deck, offering lovely views of the surrounding lake and majestic mountains beyond.
Day 2: After a cooked breakfast, we transfer by speedboat to the other side of the lake and drive about 20 minutes through the country roads to the hidden jewel that is Qayaam Gah. As you arrive, accompanied by welcoming drums and showered by flowers, cocktails will be served. This sublime retreat offers spectacular views of the mountains above and the lake below. =After a lunch of fresh local food, you have time free to rest, enjoying the wild gardens and the heated infinity pool fed by a local spring, sipping refreshing kehwa served on your veranda with its panoramic views. Late afternoon brings high tea and a concert of traditional Sufi music performed by local musicians, and then later comes a private candlelight dinner with a soft backgrounsd of live melodious santoor music, under the canopy of twinkling stars.
Day 3: After breakfast, we driven in an open top jeep for a couple of hours along the river Sindh to reach our magical picnic spot by the river, surrounded by ancients forests. The picnic will be set on a large carpet set with with flowers and cushions, and the meal will include trout freshly caught from the river, salads and other healthy local dishes. Enjoy dipping your feet in snow-fed cold water, and be entertained by a performance of rabbi music.After lunch we drive back to Qayaam Gah, where the team will have prepared warm flower tub baths for you. The candle-lit dinner by the pool includes a complimentary bottle of wine.
Day 4: After a leisurely breakfast, you take the transfer to the airport or on to your next destination.
